How to Participate: You can register a team of 4 to participate in the race, or sing up to volunteer. Online Registrations will open mid September at ubcpancakerace.weebly.com or contact Kevin Mo at firstname.lastname@example.org
Description: Teams of four run with a pancake in a skillet and toss the pancake up in the air halfway through a 100 meter course. Once they complete an approximate 100 meter leg of a course they pass the skillet onto the next team member that repeats the course the opposite way. This is repeated until all four team members run their 100 meters. If they drop their pancake they must return back to their starting point and repeat. If their pancake (when flipped) does not reach an appropriate height (this is judged by referee) they must start over again.
First, second and third place win a prize. Costumes are encouraged as top costume also wins a prize.

Description: APSC Dean Marc Parlange challenged all Faculty Deans to a participation race and to gather as many of students, faculty and staff as possible to participate in the United Way Turkey 2K Trot fun run or walk. As an special incentive for Faculty to participate, he will donate $1 for each registrant from any Faculty that exceeds the number of participants from Applied Science.
This event is open to all staff, students and faculty to register and participate to show support for their Dean and Faculty.

This is an opportunity for all departments, faculty, staff, and students to reuse and benefit from items that are still in great condition. There is plenty of furniture – workstations, filing cabinets, chairs, desks, fans, office supplies, and miscellaneous items.
All sales are final and ‘as is’. Proceeds will go to the United Way.
